Corinne Dorsey is a DC-based Content Writer & Journalist, who recently graduated from Howard University.

My passion lies in amplifying diverse voices and covering a wide range of social issues, culture, and news. I thrive in the dynamic digital media landscape and take pride in empowering companies to enhance their social media presence and achieve their growth objectives through strategic communication and marketing expertise.

I have previously worked with CNN DC Bureau, TODAY Show at NBC News, The Dallas Morning News, Vantage Point Virtual Reality, The Wall Street Journal under the WSJ Magazine, and The Washington Post. These experiences enriched my understanding of journalism and fueled my passion for storytelling.

I have also freelanced for platforms such as TheGrio and Vimeo and was a contributing writer at Temple Indigo, Culture Hub, The Hilltop, and Her Campus.

At Howard University, I thrived as a passionate member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where I served as the Social Media Director. I also worked as the Editor-in-Chief for Revolutionaire, where I led an exceptional team to create thought-provoking content.

Instead of looking at the past, I put myself ahead twenty years and try to look at what I need to do now in order to get there then.
