Washington, DC-Based Journalist & Content Strategist

Corinne Dorsey is a Washington, DC-based journalist and content strategist with a decade of experience amplifying diverse voices across media, culture, and social impact. Her bylines span CNN, NBC TODAY, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and TheGrio and her content strategy work has helped brands build audiences and drive measurable growth.

A Howard University alumna and White House Correspondents Association Scholar, Corinne brings the rigor of a newsroom and the instincts of a digital native to every project. She has covered everything from breaking news and cultural commentary to social justice and community-driven stories.

On the strategy side, Corinne has partnered with organizations across media, finance, and the nonprofit sector to build social media presences that are both authentic and results-driven. From launching brand accounts from the ground up to developing editorial frameworks and managing content calendars, she understands what it takes to grow an audience without losing the human touch that makes content worth following.

Her work doesn't stop at the written word. As a producer currently in post-production on her short film Familiarity, Corinne approaches every medium, video, social, and editorial with the same commitment to craft and intentionality.

Whether she's pitching a story, shaping a brand's voice, or building something new, Corinne leads with a focus on intentional storytelling.

Instead of looking at the past, I put myself ahead twenty years and try to look at what I need to do now in order to get there then.
